Shelley Khan is a nature photographer living in Sugar Land, Texas. She was an art teacher and a fourth grade teacher for 8 years. She loved to include nature in her lessons. Shelley would have the students go outside and look at objects in a new way. She would tell them that things don't always appear like they seem. Her love of nature came from growing up on her grandparents farm in South Lyon, Michigan. She loved to go out into the fields and look up at the clouds. I remember watching the butterflies in the alfalfa. It was so peaceful. Shelley 's family loves to go camping whenever they get a chance. She has two children, a husband, and a dog named Lady. Shelley is a member of North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA).
